GRA Round 3
|

I did not take part in this round as I participant in a marathon the day before. Anyway, manage to drop by for a while and took some photos.
As taken from Shell IT Cyberjaya E-news today:
Our boys are going to "Pro" next year: 2 colleagues participated in the Grass Racing Autocross 2007 last weekend.
Event: GRA "Rally Car Park" Championship Round 3
Venue: Shah Alam Stadium carpark
Date: 9th September 2007 (Sunday)
Results:
Dennis Woo won #2 in 1.8 cc class with a Proton Satria GTi
Timothy Ketit won #2 in 1.6 cc class with a Perodua Kancil Turbo

It was at 9pm on the 25th of July 2005 that 3 of the partners sign a piece of document at Lotus Restaurant in PJ State to sell off Leonet Cybercafe. It was a sad moment when I am no longer "BOSS" and my first venture into business has to end this way. All of us lost some money but gain some wisdom and valuable experience.
I found a picture from the opening day and this brings back lots of memories.. this entry is just remind me of all the adventures of running a Cybercafe and my friends in the picture that has supported my venture one way or the other. Some of them has gone on to be successful in other business, others has become proud parents.. me.. I still take things one day at a time.

Salsa Cabanna at Friendster Cafe

I receive an announcement in my salsa friendster group from JamesQ that there is a new place to salsa (dancing) at Damansara Perdana on thursday. Since tonite is the opening nite, I rush home from work, had a quick dinner and shower, and then meet up my studio mates in Taman Tun before heading there.
The place was easy to find but have to park like 200 meters away. There were 2 dancefloor, the main dancefloor was a bit slippery, had a flower pot in the middle (i guess for you to do some bollywood style dancing..  ) but good air conditioning. The smaller dance floor was a bit sticky and hot. We had a decent amount of die hard salsa kaki showed up this evening so it was a very satisfying nite for me  . I left around 1.30am but end up in a mamak until 4am. Next morning when to office like a zombie..

Take left turning, another left; you'll see Friendster Coffee ahead of you.
Parking free along road.

Salsa Performance for CBJ Idols finals

I had my first live salsa performance for the CBJ Idols finals today. It took us only 2 weeks of practice so our performance was really messy but it was a lot of fun. Looking back at the video, I think we did OK.. and look forward to perform again in the future
